The Glenelg Contract Bridge Club is a community-based club that provides the opportunity
to play contract bridge in a pleasant setting.
We have been in the Glenelg area continuously for over 40 years. Members span the whole spectrum of experience and skill from Grand Masters to Beginners. Lessons are on offer to students who are beginners and supervised sessions for new and experienced players are provided.
Our clubrooms are situated in a scenic location in the Sea Rescue Squadron Hall off Barcoo Rd. West Beach. There is ample parking for our members in the spacious car park.
Invite your friends along or make new friends.
We do not charge extra for visitors outside the Adelaide Metropolitan area.
We like to feel that we are a very hospitable club and welcome new members. We feel that bridge in our club offers an ideal opportunity to enjoy an excellent social environment.
The wearing of surgical-style masks are highly recommended at the club.
Beginners' classes are regularly held throughout the year. This is the ideal way to learn the basics of Contract Bridge in a positive learning environment. Once you have had a basic introduction into Bridge you can continue playing in supervised sessions.
The cost for the seven week course is $70 which includes a copy of Joan Butts' "Play Bridge 1"
Our next set of lessons for those people wishing to learn how to play Contract Bridge will commence on Thursday morning, 27th July at 9.15am. Please contact Bill Jensen on 0410 544 588 or the club on 0412 128 801 during session times for more details.
Supervised Bridge in a friendly and learning environment is open to both beginners and more advanced players on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.15 to 11.45 am.
Further details about these sessions are available from Julie Clark on 0422 509 492 or June Hammond on 0428 444 085
